2020 WEEKLY INITIATIVES / LIFE LESSONS
- Feb 24- ATTITUDE- No complaining about anything for 1 week straight
- Mar 2- TIME- Be 10 minutes early to everything for 1 week straight
- Mar 9- PARENTS- Spend 15 minutes each day helping parents with something
- Mar 16- ACCOUNTABILITY- No excuses for anything for a week straight (month, year…)
- Mar 23- TECHNOLOGY- No phone for 5 hours per day when not in school
- Mar 30- GRATEFUL- Thank someone each day for something that they do for you or others
- Apr 6- OUTGOING- Introduce yourself to 1 new person each day
- Apr 13- CITIZEN- Volunteer for something new for 5 hours total this week
- Apr 20- PATRIOTIC- Write a letter to a veteran or current person serving thanking them
- Apr 27- APPRECIATION- tell 1 person each day of the week why you appreciate them
- May 4- REMORSE- Find 3 different people over week that you need to apologize to and do it
Difference between SACRIFICE and OPPORTUNITY. Examples:
- Sacrifice- giving one's life for others, serving in war...
- Opportunity- education and school work, weight room, baseball practice...
